Hi there! I'm Lorraine!

I just want to let you all know that, I have the best job ever! I get to do what I love every time I get to photograph your families! I get to freeze these amazing moments in time and share them with the rest of the world! What could be better than that? Absolutely nothing but, my pets come in a pretty close second! ;) Not gonna lie, i'm a crazy ferret lady. I have 3 ferrets, and rescue any when I have the chance! I also have a pretty darn cute puppy dog, too. :) Someone told me to write about my hobbies but, my only hobby is prop making for sessions! Although, extremely cliche, photography truly is my life. I eat, sleep, and breathe my job and there's nothing more amazing! I dream of growing my business! Strange, right? I dream about the one thing that I have to do crazy amounts of paperwork for but, it's all worth it! My day job, I work as a cake decorator. Yes, I have heard 'all you have to do is become a florist and you could be the all-in-one wedding planner!'. Sure would be nice, huh? Way too hectic, i'm sure! At 21 years old, I own my own photography studio located in Thurmont. When I'm not decorating cakes, or shooting sessions, my life revolves around prop shopping! This is what happens when you rent a space bigger than your needed, there's a desire to over flow it with props! Even every day shopping results in one question asked multiple times throughout the day 'Do you think I can fit a baby in that?' I feel as though that comes out of my mouth almost daily. Why? Because I LOVE capturing newborns/babies while they're still young! They won't be that teeny tiny forever! I LOVE customizing each and every portrait session, I LOVE meeting new clients and forming amazing, long-lasting friendships with them, I LOVE watching their children grow!
